Mikalyn (Ramey) Burchett

Mikalyn  Burchett, age 30, of Madisonville, KY, formerly of Floyd County, wife of Derick Burchett, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2024 at her residence.  She was born December 26, 1993 in Ashland, KY, the daughter of Jeff Ramey, Allen, KY and Shawn Crislip of Texas.  She was a homemaker.

Mika loved her babies fiercely and was the best mommy.  She loved reading magazines and watching TV with her babies.  Mika was a great wife, daughter, friend, but most importantly Mom.  She was an all around great person and will be truly missed.

She is survived by her husband; Derick, father; Jeff Ramey, mother; Shawn Crislip, her babies; Wyatt, Addi and Prue, grandparents; Maudie Ruth May & Jewell Crislip, aunts; Tommie Lynn (Lloyd) Layne and Vickie (James) Duncan, cousins; Tommy Layne, Tyler Layne, Chauncy Duncan, Jessica Rivera and Samantha Hamza, also several, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mom; Connie May Ramey, grandparents; Tommy May, Dannie Crislip

Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, KY.  Burial to follow in the Jervis Cemetery, Corn Fork, Prestonsburg, KY, visitation is from 11 a.m. until the time of service Sunday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
